All too often the start-up of a new line creates so much activity that we don’t take the time to praise the efforts of the group responsible for putting it all together. I would like to commend the team at UMC involved with the design, fabrication, setup, installation and start-up of our recent packaging line. In particular comments made were;

Tom Karow – “a well Engineered turnkey line”
Don Scheirer – “as always, an excellent source of important packaging     information”
Barry Minotto – “good leadership and coordination with the installation team”

The work of the installation crew, Al Toaldo, Kenny Riese, Wilt Pyle, Jimmy Raifsnider and John Buczkowski, was exceptional. The UMC crew worked very efficiently while complying with all our plant safety policies. They provided on-line training for our Maintenance employees throughout the installation. By their remaining so attentive to detail, the line documentation will be the basis for our maintenance files.

Thanks again for a job well done. This is truly a team of highly skilled packaging specialists, complete from conceptualization to installation.
